LETTER AND ENVELOPE, I. DE AJURIA TO WALTER P. TEMPLE, 30 JANUARY 1918 Color: White A letter (a) from I. de Ajuria to Walter P. Temple, 30 January 1918, with envelope (b). The envelope is plain white or light gray, postmarked 30 January 1918 from the Hollywood station and addressed to "Mr. Walter P. Temple / 2130 South Garfield Ave / Alhambra Cal." There is no return address. The letter has the return address, however, at the top: "7365 Sunset Bld. / Hollywood Cal." along with the date. The letter, written in dark ink, is on the same white or light gray paper as the envelope and concerns de Ajuria's move to a new apartment in Hollywood with an invitation to the Temples to visit. De Ajuria, grandchild of Jonathan Temple, was a cousin of Walter Temple. Both letter and envelope are in fair condition with faded ink, discoloration and small creases evident. The envelope was torn open on the right edge.
