Description
A letter by Mrs. James Foley to her brother, Duarte, CA, 23 February 1883. Mrs. Foley is concerned that her brother would worry about her with the recent floods at Beardsley Ditch in Los Angeles. She berates him for not writing her in 6 months. She also expresses gratitude to her Uncle Ed for helping her and her husband prepare for the flooding. With general yellowing, acid burns in the bottom corners, and creasing from being folded, the object is in good condition overall.
