a)Envelope: Orange envelope addressed to Mr. Frank R. Lohman/ 3819 Walnut Street/ Philadelphia in green ink. Postmark reads: "New Orleans/ FEB 1/ 9 PM/ LA./ 1928". One 10 cents and one 2 cents stamps and cancellation marks are at top right corner. "Special Delivery" is handwritten in green ink at top left corner. Two small red wax seals on envelope back. b) Letter: Four pages of text written in pencil on "Hotel Patten" stationery. Envelope is faded, soiled, and has a tear at center top.
