Description
A letter from a mother to a son on a printed election slate for Los Angeles County, ca. late 1870s. The letter is written in pencil from "Mama" to "Harry" on the reverse of which is the printed slate of Republicans running for county and state offices. There is no date, but it appears to be from 1877 to 1880. With original horizontal folds, a dogeared corner, and light soiling, the overall condition is good.
