Description
A set of notes or a letter, probably by Andrew A. Boyle for this trip to California in early 1851. There are seven listed items pertaining to crossing the Isthmus of Panama, freighting and baggage, the sale of flags and bunting, and a statement about contacting the writer, although the location is not certain (though it may be San Francisco, where Boyle lived from 1851 to 1858.) On the reverse is some mathematical figures in pencil. With much of the paper cut away, heavy creasing, stains, and edge wear, the condition is fair.
