A letter from an unknown author to H.M. Jordan in Whittier, California. 11 May 1914.
A typed letter stating that O.M. Finch has a deal to sell his lot to Jason Ortega who is turn sold it to Dr. W.E. Smith. The checks for this deal are in the office and waiting for the return of the contract signed by Mr. Finch. The author writes that he heard Mr. Ortega has gone to see H.M. Jordan about the trees that were set aside for Mr. Finch and that Mr. Jordan was going to cut the price by $0.15 if paid cash. The author believes Mr. Jordan is intitled to all his money and that this is way to slow down the sell of land as Dr. Smith can not get a clear title until the trees are paid for.
There is a fold in the top left corner, a crease of the bottom left corner, and discoloration on the top and right side. This object is in good condition overall.Lexicon
