Color: Blue
"Lighting Equipment for General Electric Distributors," a catalog issued by The Southern New England Electric Company, 1924. The blue paper cover has a dark blue panel at the top of the front, in which is the title in white letters. At the bottom is the company name and place of business in three Connecticut cities. A foreword explains the company's commitment to standardized production and packaging and the economical attributes of its system. From page three are product listings, including model numbers, dimensions, including length and spread, and colors. Each is accompanied by a photograph superimposed over a yellow background with vine-like borders. Products include chandeliers, wall sconces, and ceiling fixtures with variances in number of lamps, direction in which the bulbs are pointed, types of shades and other decorative elements. A price list is item 1.2. With some surface soiling, a few creases and some discoloration, the artifact is in good condition.Lexicon
