Description

"Lil' Black Baby Mine," music by Frances E. Wilson and words by Laura Graham Barringer, published by Charles Loverland, Los Angeles, 1926. The song, in a lively tempo, has lyrics in stereotyped black dialect and was obviously intended for use in blackface minstrel shows. The cover has an image fo a tree and little girl all in black along with rabbits playing a flute and what appears to be a guitar. On the back is a sample of another piece by Wilson and Cary Wilson. With soiling, stains, an edge tear and edge rubbing, the overall condition is fair.
