Description

Color: Green, gold, cream, white A linen manufacturer's price tag, ca. 1920s. The price tag is folded in half and tied with white thread at the bottom. A border in gold ink surrounds the front of the price tag. Inset at top center also in gold ink is an ornate leaf-like design that runs the entire length of the border. Below the design is a circle with the letters "AB" inside which is probably the manufacturer's initials. To the left of the circle are the words "PURE/HAND" and to its right side are the words "LINEN/MADE". Blank lines for number, size, quantity, and price run from top to bottom. The words "MADE IN ITALY" are printed at the bottom. Green thread is tied through the top fold for attaching to linens. With a small tear along the right side if the price tag and light creases along the top, the price tag is in good condition.
