Description

A snapshot of location filming for an Our Gang comedy, Los Angeles, F. Morrison Boyd, 1925. The image was taken in front of a themed restautant and club, set like a jail with faux windows showing cartoons of inmates and a faux rock wall. Several young actors in jail costumes and formal clothing are with crew members at a corner of the building, while the camera is set on a tripod at the edge of the adjoining sidewalk. A board, used for the film shoot, lies against the curb against the lower right. Boyd, the road scout for the American Automobile Association, was on a 37,000-mile road trip of the U. S., Mexico and Canada. With some soiling and browning, the overall condition is good.
