A real photo postcard of Long Beach oil field, Warren M. Sargent, ca. 1920s. The image, taken from an elevated point of view, shows a forest of dozens of oil derricks with some houses interspersed among the towers, tanks and associated buildings The photographer's name and location of Long Beach are at the bottom right and the back of the unused card has space for correspondence, an address, and a stamp. With some stains, edge rubbing and browning, the overall condition is good.
