Description
LOOKING INTO THE BUTLER'S PANTRY FROM THE BREAKFAST ROOM
Color: Brown
A color polaroid photograph of the recreation of the La Casa Nueva Butler's Pantry, as seen from the Breakfast Room, ca. April 1979. Through the doorway, which has a new frame to recreate the entrance that was closed during the convalescent hospital use of the home, can be seen much of the north cupboard, which was bare, unpainted wood with the glass doors not yet installed. A very small portion of the sink and cabinets above and below it are discerned. To the right is a portion of the doorway into the Dining Room, while unidentified materials are at lower right and left. An inscription in blue ink was started at the bottom of the object and the letters "But. . ." written, but the inscription was stopped. In good condition, the artifact shows little sign of wear or damage.
