Description
Looking towards La Casa Nueva from the Tepee, ca. 1927. The view shows most of the house's west elevation showing the nearlt-ginished house with its finished plaster walls, tiled roof, and completed second floor sun deck. At the right is the Tepee, which has the lower third of adobe walls stacked, the interior wood scaffolding present, and stacks of adobe bricks nearby. Three newly-planted sycamore trees, two of which appear to be extant, are also of note, though most of the West Lawn area is undeveloped. As this print was made from the original negative, it is mint.
