Description
Looking west from Main and 7th streets, Los Angeles, ca. 1927. An inscription on the reverse notes that the view was from a four-story structure looking west with the intersection of Spring and 7th, flanked by the Van Nuys Building (left) and A.G. Bartlett/Union Oil Building (right). Streetcars, autos, pedestrians, portions of older commercial structures, including an Owl Drug store at lower left, are also of note, while newer edifices line 7th westward. With some creases and light soiling as well as album paper residue on the reverse, the condition is good.
