At the center of the back is a stone-lined pond. Across the back are many trees, a fence, path, and a red pitched-roof structure. Printed in black ink at the top right corner is, "A Monster Alligator at the / Los Angeles Alligator Farm, California." At the left of the back are the name and location of the publisher, Eno & Matteson, and the logo for the Panama California Exposition in San Diego. A square box which indicates international and domestic postage rates is at the top right corner. All of the printing on the back is in green ink. With only light abrasions at the corners, the artifact is in good condition.
