LOS ANGELES ANGELS BASEBALL CARD, DITTMAR, 1928
Color: Black; White
A baseball card of Pacific Coast League player Dittmar of the Los Angeles Angels, 1928. The image shows the player facing the camera on a baseball field in uniform posed just after throwing a ball, so that his right arm is to the left of his body and he leans on his left leg. In the background is a baseball field and some of the stadium grandstands, partially filled. At the bottom left is the inscription "28/ ZEENUT / SERIES / DITTMAR / LOS ANGELES." Zeenut, a food producer, distributed the cards. With a great deal of soiling, abraded edges with losses at the upper left corner, dented corners, and creases, the artifact is in fair condition.Lexicon
