LOS ANGELES ANGELS BASEBALL CARD, MANAGER MARTIN KRUG, 1929
Color: Black; White
A baseball card of Pacific Coast League manager Martin Krug of the Los Angeles Angels, 1929. The image shows the manager facing the camera on a baseball field in uniform with his hands behind his back. The background is largely shaded, so it is uncertain if the dugout or some of the stadium stands are behind him. At the bottom left is the inscription "29/ ZEENUT / SERIES / KRUG, MGR. / LOS ANGELES." On the center of the back, in pencil, is the manager's name. Zeenut, a food producer, distributed the cards. With a great deal of soiling, abraded edges with losses at the upper left corner, creases, and some tears to the paper in back, the artifact is in fair condition.Lexicon
