The view appears to be taken from Fort Moore or Telegraph Hill looking north and northeast toward the Sonoratown district, north of the Plaza. In the background are the hills near present Elysian Park and, at the right, those in the Arroyo Seco/Glendale area. The item is in fair condition with missing sections on the lower center and some staining and damage to the edges of the image.
