Description

Color: Black; White A reproduced black and white photograph of a Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce dinner, 1915. The location is unidentified, but is a large ornately-paneled and decorated room and there are many round tables, each with a letter identifying a period of years. For example, the table in the foreground has a sign with the letter "L" and the years "1906" and "1907" beneath it. Various sized groups of men are at similarly identified tables and a caption at the bottom reading "1888 to 1915" indicates the range of years included, from the founding of the organization to the date of the image. At table G is William H. Workman, a founding member of the chamber, who is seated at the left, turned to face the camera and with a white napkin draped across his lap. It is probable that celebrants were officers of the chamber for the years identified at each table. As a newly reproduced photograph, the object is in mint condition. Number-Units: 1
