Brochure: A brochure on Los Angeles County, published by the Chamber of Commerce, 1928. The cover has the words "Los Angeles" at the top in orange letters with the word "COUNTY" below this in black letters. An image of a hillside view of a city with children at the bottom below two tall trees and a couple on a patio under a canopy takes up most of the cover. This scene is continued on the back with a view of a coastline with ships and there are mountains and hills in the background. Inside is information on tourist attractions; county facts; the missions; transportation information; driving tours; and hotel and apartment accommodations. There are several photographs of sites mentioned. Purchased from Dawson's Book Shop. In fair condition with the outer pages separated from most of the text, many creases, especially on the covers, some stains, and discoloration. NoneLexicon
