Description

LOS ANGELES COUNTY COURT HOUSE, ca. 1890s Color: Black; White The photograph shows the Los Angeles County Court house on the south west corner of Temple and New High streets. To the far left is possibly the old jail house. A woman carrying a parasol and several men can be seen walking up the Court house steps. To the left and right of the steps are palm trees. There are other pedestrians in horse-drawn carriages traveling along Temple street. On the reverse side is writing in black ink which appears to be the address of "343 Court House, Los Angeles Cal." The postcard is in fair condition due to damages that range from dents to its surface; discoloration and fading with some foxing.
