The pamphlet contains a roster of Conductors, Passenger Brakeman, Freight Brakemen, Engineers, Firemen, Hostlers, Hostler Helpers, Los Angeles Yard by order of their seniority, employed by the Southern Pacific Company of the Los Angeles Division. Included is a list of Santa Barbara Yard, Colton Yard, Indio Yard, Calexico Yard employees of the Southern Pacific Company, Los Angeles Division by seniority as well. There are many advertisements for Los Angeles business as well as an index of advertisers. Toward the back is a chart that is filled out in pencil which indicate the date, engine and train no., time on duty and off, station, miles, expense, conductor, engineer, brakeman and fireman. It is in fair condition with numerous visible damages such as stains to the covers, fading of cover color, surface soiling, creases, dents and moisture damage.Lexicon
