Description
Los Angeles Fire Department life net demonstration, 17 December 1928. The view shows firefighter Roy St. George leaping eighty-five feet to the round net on a frame held by about fifteen men with the photographer shooting from where St. George jumped. Pasted down on the reverse is a typed description of the event, as well as stamp of publisher International Newsreel. With a small portion of the upper right corner missing, as well as small creases and some soiling, the overall condition is good.
