LOS ANGELES IMPROVEMENT COMPANY STOCK CERTIFICATE, 1885. The stock certificate is from the Los Angeles Improvement Company. It shows that a Ralph Rogers was entitled to one hundred shares of the capital stock from this company and signed by Jesse Yarnell, President and Edward A. Hahn, Secretary of the company. Surrounding the certificate is a detailed border and a drawing of grapes to the far left side as well as a dogs head on the center bottom. This particular stock certificate is number twenty. It is in good condition despite having some light creasing, discoloration, inscriptions and stains.
