Description
"Los Angeles Municipal playground / Angeles Natl Forest / The concrete swimming pool," ca. 1918. The view shows a few dozen persons swimming in the pool, with a couple dozen more women and girls standing along the edges, set in a clearing among pine trees. The title comes from an ink inscription on the reverse. This is believed to be either Camp Radford near Angelus Oaks, which is still owned by the city though closed, or at Seeley Flat near Crestline. With tape at the lower left of the reverse, light soiling and a crease or two, the condition is good.
