Description

Color: Black; White A black and white photograph of Luis Fatjo sitting with an unidentified woman, October 9, 1929. Fatjo is at the left and wears round eye-glasses, a hat, and a dark trenchcoat. His right hand is on his lap and his left is on the seat's back. The woman, who is only identified as "Harpo" in other images, wears a long coat with a fur-lined collar, a pleated dress, and hose. She holds a purse on her lap with both hands. Sunlight entering from a window in the background makes the couple's faces difficult to see. A purple stamp with the date and "ENAMELO / WEBBS" is at the center of the back. The image was housed in Agnes Temple's photo album which is item 96.7.94.1 along with many other photographs which span 96.7.1.1-.93.1. Contact sheets 2000.159.1.1-.8 show the original positioning of the images within the album. With some water damage and light stains, the artifact is in fair condition. Number-Units: 1
