Description

LUIS P. FATJO AND FOUR UNIDENTIFIED MEN AT FRONT OF A HOUSE Color: Black; White A black and white photograph of Luis P. Fatjo and four unidentified men in front of a house, developed on 28 August 1928. Fatjo is one of two men on the porch of the large Colonial Revival structure and is dressed a white shirt, light-colored pants and is without a jacket. At the right is an older man wearing a dark three-piece suit, dark tie, and white dress shirt, who stands with his hands on his hips. In a driveway in the foregound is a convertible with three men in it. Two are seated with one appearing to stand in the back seat or perhaps on a running board. The men in the front seats face the camera, while the other looks down at the others. Aside from some landscaping between the car and house and to the right, there are no other notable features. Given the date, it is assumed the image was taken by Agnes Temple as she was starting a new semester at Dominican College. On the reverse is a stamp at the lower right reading "ENAMELO / AUG 28 1928 / WEBBS," and at the top left the number "126." Webb's was a store in San Jose. There is little indication of wear or damage so the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
