MAIN STREET, PUENTE, ca. 1935-40. The postcard shows Main Street in the city of Puente with various commercial buildings and businesses such as a Rexall Pharmacy, a Real Estate office and more. Electrical and, or telephone poles line the streets with its wires as well as light posts. On the side of the brick building, on the left is a Juicy Fruit gum advertisement. Many automobiles fill the streets and at the far background are the San Gabriel Mountains. The reverse side has room for a correspondence and a space for an address, postage stamp. The postcard was published by Views Inc., in Seattle Washington. It is in good condition despite having creases, surface soiling, discoloration, light stains, writing in pencil on the back.Lexicon
