Description

MAN POSED NEAR BUILDING, PRESUMABLY HARVARD UNIVERSITY, LATE 1920s Color: Black; White A negative of a man posed near a building, presumably Langdell Hall at Harvard University's Law School, ca. 1928. The man, wearing a suit and tie and heavy overcoat and holding a hat in the cradle of his left arm, stands on a sidewalk with a tree bereft of foliage at background left. Further in the background are five floors of the partially-visible structure. It is assumed that the man was a classmate or friend of Thomas W. Temple II, who attended the law school from 1926-29. Aside from some non-intrusive edge darkening, edge wear, and a small loss at the bottom of the right edge, the object is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
