Entry/Object ID

Description

Man's pants: cream wool background with blue stripes. Stripes are of two different 1/16" wide herringbone designs that alternate every 1/4". Pants are unlined and have 2" cuffs. There are five pockets lined with wool and cotton; seven button fly; seven triangular belt loops; and six buttons inside the waistband for suspenders. Many insect holes overall. Large tear in the waistband at center back belt loop. Wear spot at right edge opening of coin pocket. Overall physical condition is fair. However, for exhibition purposes the general appearance from a short distance is good as the pants are well pressed and the striped designs hide the insect holes. Manufacturer's label on inside right front pocket is too worn to read.
