A black and white reproduction photograph of Manuel Higuera near the Homestead swimming pool, ca. 1929. Wearing a light-colored shirt, buttoned to the throat, dark trousers and shoes, and holding in his right hand at his side a dark-colored hat with light-colored band, Higuera, who was a ranch worker for the Temples, stands on a concrete deck near the ranch swimming pool. Part of the pool is behind Higuera and the head of a swimmer is visible. In the background is the pipe fence around the pool and, at far right, part of the diving board and slide. A row of tall bushes at the edge of the pool obscures the far background. In mint condition, the object has no wear or damage. Copy of negatives by Paul Spitzzeri.
