Description

A black and white photograph of Manuel M. Zuniga, husband of Lucinda Temple, and three others at an undetermined location, ca. 1925. Zuniga stands at right wearing a dark hat, overcoat, waistcoat, trousers, and shoes. At right center is a girl, Edna Poyorena, wearing a striped knee-length dress, dark hose, and dark shoes. At left center is Edna's mother and Manuel's daughter, Lucy Zuniga Poyorena wearing a white calf-length dress. At left is Pete Davis, a son of Joe Davis, an employee of the Temple family in the 1860s and 1870s and brother-in-law of Zuniga, with a light-colored hat, dark three-piece suit and shoes and white shirt. The four stand in front of a wooden building with fields at left, but the location is not known. The source donor is Carlos Hartnell, grandson of Manuel Zuniga. A negative is 97.8.1.16. The photograph is in mint condition.
