Description

Negative, Photographic: A black and white photographic negative of Manuel M. Zuniga, husband of Lucinda Temple, and three others at an undetermined location, ca. 1925. Zuniga stands at right wearing a dark hat, overcoat, waistcoat, trousers, and shoes. At right center is a girl, Edna Poyorena, wearing a striped knee-length dress, dark hose, and dark shoes. At left center is Edna's mother and Manuel's daughter, Lucy Zuniga Poyorena, wearing a white calf-length dress. At left is Pete Davis, a son of Joe Davis, an employee of the Temple family in the 1860s and 1870s and brother-in-law of Zuniga, with a light-colored hat, dark three-piece suit and shoes and white shirt. The four stand in front of a wooden building with fields at left, but the location is not known. The source donor is Carlos Hartnell, grandson of Manuel Zuniga. Prints are 97.8.6 and .7. The photograph is in mint condition.
