MAUSOLEUM CEILING REPAIR, DN GRAPHICS ARTISAN RESTORING FRIEZE
Color: Blue; Gray
A color polaroid photograph of a DN Grahphics artisan restoring the frieze at one end of the mausoleum interior, 12 March 1979. The worker stands on a metal ladder and has a small brush or tool applied with her right hand to part of the frieze, near the top just below the ceiling. Much of the ceiling is visible, including the cloth border strip, at the top. Along the frieze, to the left of the artisan, is one of the air vents just above the crypts, the top of which are seen at the bottom. On the reverse in ink is the inscription "Temple Mausoleum / interior - decorative / artwork, cornice frieze restora- / tion process - DN Graphics / photo archt. 3/12/79." Below this is a stamp of restoration architect Raymond Girvigian with his name, address, and phone number. Over this is a piece of tape. With no indication of notable wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition.
