A metal piece, possibly from the top cover of a coffin, ca. 1870, unearthed when the crypt was dug for Nellie D. Temple, April 1998. The piece appears to be a edge section where it has a curved end and the flat section appears to be the cover section of the lid. There is a significant amount of encrustation of dirt and other organic materials, as well as major rusting and pitting, so the object is in poor condition.
