MILITARY ACADEMY STUDENTS ON THE HOMESTEADEntry/Object ID
2002.28.1.11Description
Color: Black; White
A reproduction photograph of students from Golden State Military Academy gathered somewhere on the Homestead, ca. 1932. The image shows some ten students, all in full military uniform, posed informally around a tree in a dirt area. Many hold rifles, with one, at the left, pointing his toward the camera. Except for a couple of trees and a vague, unidentifiable wooden object, possibly the ruins of an outbuilding, at the right, it is impossible to tell the exact location. As a newly-made fact, the photo is in mint condition.
