A letter (a-c) with envelope (d) from Milton Kauffman to Thomas W. Temple II, 7 October 1925. The main letter is on the letterhead of the Temple Estate Company, San Gabriel, California and is stamped "LOS ANGELES OFFICE / 409 GREAT REPUBLIC LIFE BLDG." Addressed to Thomas at Santa Clara University, the letter concerned an attached letter to Agnes Temple; an overcoat being sent; and an oil well at an unnamed location [mention of Mr. Guthrie may be Walter Temple's nephew, Norman--see 97.58.1.14.] The two-page letter to Agnes Temple is a carbon copy on yellow typing paper and regards Agnes' monthly allowance check. The envelope is on Temple Estate Company stationery and addressed to Thomas.
