A black and white photograph of Milton Kauffman with two women, ca. 1920s. The three stand across the center in front of an automobile with Kauffman at the middle. He wears eye-glasses; a hat; tie; collared shirt; dark three-ppiece suit; and shoes. Both arms are at his sides. To the left is a woman in a hat; dark dress; long coat which has fur at the collar and wrists; hose; and heels. Her head tilts back with the right hand on her waist and the left arm around Kauffman's shoulders. The woman at the right wears a hat; a light-colored dress which has a white collar and a belt; hose; and heels. Her left hand is under the collar. All smile at the camera. The multi-passenger automobile is behind them and parked facing to the right. The vehicle has the passenger window down and it has a case at the back, a panel along the bottom, and a spare at the front of the side. At the left of the background is a service station with part of a sign at the top with the word, "STANDARD." Below this is one gasoline pump. Stamped at the right of the back is, "ANDERSON / Photo Service / EL MONTE." Below this is the number, "43." The photograph was housed in Agnes Temple's album which is item 96.7.94.1 along with many other photographs which span 96.7.1.1-.93.1.
