The piece is made of three plastic layers with the bottom layer flashed. The design consists of a light brown background of interweaved lines and floral patterns overlaid with four large medallions in black background with stylized floral designs in light brown. There are also one complete and eight partial smaller medallions with black background and an eight-leaf floral design. On the back are 25 perforations to assist in the adhering of the tile to a surface. Minton & Co.'s imprint is on the back and reads: "MINTON & CO / PATENT / STOKE UPON TRENT" and there is a hallmark, the design of which is not distinguishable. There is one small corner chip and some surface scratches, but the object is in good condition.
