Minute book of the Los Angeles Justice Court, 4 February 1910 to 24 November 1914. The preprinted pages are for the complaint and arraignment phases of the proceedings with additional phases written in ink with some stamped procedural references included along with court dates. In those cases where the judge determined a likelihood of a committed crime there is a stamp with information on bail provisions. At the top is the trial reference and register number, as well as the ledger page number. The proceedings end at page 492, although on the end flysheets are thirty-seven entries for marriage licenses between March 1914 and June 1916 with the names of the bridge and groom, nativity, age, names of witnesses, addresses, date, and, in some cases, the amount of the fee. With significant damage to the cover of all kinds and some pages dogeared, soiled and stained, thought most are fairly clean, the overall condition is poor.Lexicon
