RPPC - A black and white postcard of a misison courtyard and fountain, ca. 1920s. The fountain is at the right with two round concrete pools for the center-piece at the middle. The brick which makes up the perimeter of the fountain is in disrepair with many missing or out of place. At the left is a dirt area, a patch of grass, and a willow tree. Behing the tree is a wall which has tile shingles along the top. Across the back is a one-story building which has an arcade along the front. The wall behind the arcade is stained and in disrepair. Several arched doors and windows are also along the wall. The roof of the structure is lined with tile. The photograph was housed in Agnes Temple's album which is item 96.7.94.1 along with many other photographs which span 96.7.1.1-.93.1. Contact sheets 2000.159.1.1-.8 show the original positioning of the images within the album. With only a slight warping of the paper, the artifact is in good condition.
