A cabinet card photograph, "Mission Fountain, Santa Barbara, Cal. 16," ca. 1890s. The view is from directly next to the water feature, which has a hexagonal basin filled with water and a pedestal, two bowls and an urn, from which a pipe extends, though no water was issuing from it. In the background is a portion of the mission's north wing with its arched portico, upper windows and dormer windows in the roof. With a vertical crease right of center and ripples and creases, the overall condition is good.Lexicon
