A snapshot photograph of Mission San Gabriel, ca. 1920s. Taken from Mission Drive the view looks northwest at most of the south facade of the old church and part of the adobe rectory, although palm and other trees planted along the roadside block some of the structures, especially the latter. Power poles are also in view. On the reverse is the pencil inscription "San Gabriel Mission" as well as the numbers "48" [for developing] and "140." With slight curvature of the paper and very light soiling, the condition is good.
