"Modern Plumbing and Heating Supplies," issued by Sears, Roebuck and Company, 1929. The 54-page catalog has a yellow paper cover which has a color drawing at the center of the top of a woman at work a kitchen. She sits on a stool in front of a sink while a little girl in a pink dress at the far right hands her a jar and carrots. Within a circle at the left of the center is a drawing of three heaters and to the right of this in green is the title. A drawing of a two-story home is at the center of the bottom and below this is the name of the company in black. Below the name of the company in red are the words, "The World's Largest Store." On the back is a full-page color advertisement for plumbing and heating exhibits. At the beginning is a guarantee and a full description, diagram, and installation instructions for the Hercules heating system. A variety of heat sources are offered including water boilers, heaters, and radiators. Other items available include building materials, pumps, bathroom furnishings, plumbing fixtures, and much more. Many black and white drawings are also included. Found within the catalog was an order blank which is item .2, and two envelopes which are items .3-.4. With abrasions, creases, dents, and surface soiling, the object is in fair condition.Lexicon
