"Motor Life," January 1928, published by the Motor Life Publishing Company, Chicago. The 40-page artifact has the title at the top of the front cover with "Land - Air - Water" underneath. At the bottom are the issue date, price, and four topics found within. The rest of the cover is taken up by an image by Ralph Peterson of people walking into an indoor automobile show. Articles include material on the new Ford Model A; other new cars for 1928; walking during breaks on long car trips; driving through the southeastern states; the winter festival in Montreal; the Peace Bridge between the U. S. and Canada; driving in Florida; aviation; driving in Kentucky; a car show in Paris; tire hazards; stop lights and pedestrians; and regular features on car maintenance, editorials, financial news, and others. At the top of the back cover is a penciled name, presumably of a previous owner. With some cover creases, light soiling, a few stains, and small tears on the edges of the covers, as well as light page discoloration, the artifact is in good condition.Lexicon
