"Motorists Guide Map and Manual, Yosemite National Park California," issued by the United States Department of the Interior and the National Park Service, 1928. The artifact is of white paper with the names of the publishers at the top of the front. The title and date are at the center. At the bottom is the seal of the Department of the Interior and below it is, "YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK BELONGS / TO YOU. HELP TAKE CARE OF IT." All of the latter information is also on the back, and all of the printing is in black ink. Information about the park is on the inside including general information; camping regulations; places to contact for further information; automobile and motorcycle regulations; park services; and much more. The map illustrates all of the roads in Yosemite Valley as well as points of interest, traveler's services, camp sites, and more. With light abrasions, some discoloration, and surface soiling, the object is in fair condition.
