Photograph, Mount Lowe incline railway car, passengers, and Pacific Electric Railway streetcar at the Rubio Canyon depot, ca. 1905. The image shows the streetcar at left, the incline railway car at the center with the steep track ascending Echo Mountain, and passengers gathered in the rail car on an adjoining walk and near the tracks. On the reverse is a lengthy ink inscription describing the railway dated 24 July 1926, but the photo is clearly older, judging from women's clothing alone. With portions of two corners, not affecting the image, missing, heavy creasing, and soiling, the condition is fair, but clear.
