Description
Mounted studio portrait, member of the Shriners, Los Angeles, ca. 1920. Made by George Steckel studio. Carbon portrait with a sepia tone of the bust of a middle aged man wearing a suit jacket and stiff collared shirt. He wears a shriners pin of a scimitar, crescent and star on his jacket lapel along with a chain. Photo mounted onto larger board and frame. Includes the word "carbon" and photographer's label embossed at bottom of board. In good condition, minor lifting of photo at bottom right corner, surface soiling and staining to board.
