Description

Color: Brown, black, white A black and white photograph in a folio of Mr. and Mrs. T. P. Raina, 20 June 1915. The photograph is mounted and glued into the folio and shows the two in a portrait studio. Mrs. Raina is seated at the left in a dark-colored skirt, white blouse; and black-band hat with floral decoration. Mr. Raina appears to be seated on a high stool and wears a dark three-piece suit, white shirt, and dark tie. He appears to have a flower in his lapel. The folio has a thin brown-line bordered box on the front with a logo of laurel and a torch in the center. On the reverse written in ink is "To Mr & Mrs W. P. Temple / From Mr & Mrs T. P. Raina / June 20th 1915." The relationship of the Rainas to the Temples or where they lived is not yet known. Without any visible signs of wear or damage, the photograph appears to be in good condition, while the folio has some discoloration; foxing; surface stains and abraded edges, particularly on the lower right front, and is in fair condition.
