Description

Color: Brown "My Life East & West," by William S. Hart (Boston and New York: Houghton Mifflin Co.,) 1928. The 362-page hardcover book, without a dustjacket, has a light brown cover with brown lettering. The title is at the top of the front and the author's name at the bottom. The title and author's last name are at the top of the spine and the publisher's name at the bottom. The work is an autobiography of the famed silent film star of Westerns up to his recent retirement from the film industry. There are many photographs, including a reproduction of a Charles Russell painting of the actor. At the front flysheet is a gift inscription from Christmas 1929. With spine and cover edge rubbing; soiling on page edges; browning of pages; some small stains; and areas of cover abrasion showing as white spots, the overall condition is good.
